Coco Balls




Here is what we need:

Dessicated Coconut - 100 gms
Condensed milk - 3 - 5 tbsps
Sugar powder - 80 - 100 gms
Elachi (cardamom) powder for taste

Method: 
  • Mix dessicated coconut with condensed milk, sugar powder and elachi powder.
  • Form balls and roll them in dessicated coconut.

HEALTHY DATENUT LADDUS


Here is what we need:

Dates (pitted-seedless) paste - 1 & 1/2 cups
Nuts (of your choice)
I used:
Almonds - 1/4 cup
Pistachios - 1/4 cup
Cashews - 1/4 cup
Walnuts - 1/4 cup
Peanuts - 1/3 cup (optional). I did not use it.
Sesame seeds - 1/4 cup
Rolled oats - 1/4 cup
Flax seed powder - 1/4 cup
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Coconut powder (dry) - 3 tsp

Method:

  • Take dates and grind them to fine paste. See that there are no seeds at all while grinding.
  • Dry roast all nuts & break them into pieces.
  • Mix everything with the date paste (along with oats, flax seed powder, cardamom powder, coconut powder, sesame seeds).
  • Take a square plate or pan, press this mixture into it and keep it in the refrigerator for 4 - 5 hrs.
  • Cut into small squares or roll them into laddus.
  • They are very healthy and delicious!

Chocolate Cake















Here is what we need:

200 gms of Flour
180 gms of Butter (Salt less)
200 gms of Sugar (finely powdered)
2 Eggs
Few drops of Chocolate essence
20 gms of Cocoa powder
1/4 tsp of Baking powder
1/4 tsp of Salt
1/4 tsp Soda
110 ml of Water
20 gms of Milk Powder

Method:
  • Sieve the flour with baking powder, milk powder, salt & cocoa powder twice.
  • Cream butter & sugar till light and fluffy.
  • Beat the eggs with color and flavor to a thick froth.
  • Dissolve soda in the water.
  • Pour in flour and water alternatively to the above cream batter.
  • Pour the batter into a well greased and lined baking tray.
  • Bake at 350 degs (F) for 20-25 mins.

Dessert Sensation


Here is what we need:

4 cups of fresh strawberries (cut into halves)
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup lemon juice
8 oz cool whip (thawed)
8 chocolate cream cookies (finely chopped)
1 tbsp melted butter

Method:
  • Line 8*4 inch loaf pan with foil
  • Mash 2 cups of strawberries in a large bowl
  • Stir in condensed milk, lemon juice and 2 cups of cool whip
  • Pour into pan
  • Top with (combined chopped cookies and butter)
  • Press into mixture and cover
  • Freeze at least 6 hrs
  • To serve, invert onto plate
  • Remove foil
  • Frost with remaining cool whip and top with remaining strawberries
