Here is what we need:
Dates (pitted-seedless) paste - 1 & 1/2 cups
Nuts (of your choice)
I used:
Almonds - 1/4 cup
Pistachios - 1/4 cup
Cashews - 1/4 cup
Walnuts - 1/4 cup
Peanuts - 1/3 cup (optional). I did not use it.
Sesame seeds - 1/4 cup
Rolled oats - 1/4 cup
Flax seed powder - 1/4 cup
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Coconut powder (dry) - 3 tsp
Method:
- Take dates and grind them to fine paste. See that there are no seeds at all while grinding.
- Dry roast all nuts & break them into pieces.
- Mix everything with the date paste (along with oats, flax seed powder, cardamom powder, coconut powder, sesame seeds).
- Take a square plate or pan, press this mixture into it and keep it in the refrigerator for 4 - 5 hrs.
- Cut into small squares or roll them into laddus.
- They are very healthy and delicious!
