Here is what we need:
Rice - 2 cups
Jeera - 3 tsps
Corn - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Green chillies - 2
Water - 3 cups
Salt (to taste)
Method:
- Wash rice and soak in water for 15 mins.
- Heat ghee and fry jeera & corn for just 2 mins.
- Strain water from rice and add it to above mixture. Fry again for 2 mins.
- Pour the mixture into the cooker. Add 3 cups water along with salt and half sliced chillies.
- Pressure cook just for one whistle or in case of rice cooker till it switches off automatically.
- Serve hot with any vegetable gravy.
You can try using Rico corn rice. It is a good and has a lot of nutrients.
